"Dutchoven" homemade syrup



Over the Fourth of July weekend we stayed at my aunts house and all indulged over her French toast with the most DELICIOUS syrup I've ever tasted. We all got the recipe and I've decided to share this simple recipe with everyone. It's not Dutchoven made BUT tasted like it could be, because everything dutchoven is ten times better! So therefore it's called the Dutchoven syrup. And not to mention how easy it is...YOU WILL DIE! :) 

Recipe: 

1c. Sugar 
1c. Whipping cream (not whipped)
1c. Mrs buttersworth syrup 
2 tbs. butter/margarine (salted or unsalted, doesn't matter)

Put all ingredients In saucepan on stovetop over medium heat stirring occasionally. Take off of stove before it starts to boil. 
DO NOT LET IT BOIL. 
And, enjoy! 

Makes about 1 pint.
